lovely wood, all pilot holed in correct places, went together easily with full instructions, screws and dowels etc. Will take a adult 3ft mattress and takes my husbands weight of 13 stone and is 6ft 2" - so very strong!. wanted this for my son who has a small room, lots of drawer space (exceptionally wide and deep) Ive fitted his clothes, some toys and books etc. We use the pull out cabinet as a permanent stand for his computer and theres room for paper and his pens. There was no glue included but we used our own as well as screws and dowels that came with the bed (we didnt glue the head or foor board so that it can be taken apart if needed). The wood is very good quality but is soft so be careful as can dent quite easily, but this adds to the charm rather than detracts from it. Would recommend to anyone - my boy loves it and so do I - no more messy room!
